When has your first impression of someone turned out to be completely wrong?

How have people mispronounced your name?  How is it supposed to sound?

My last name has been pronounced Hover, but it is actually Hoover. Just like the vacuum and the president and the CIA head, and the Dam. It's very rare for people to get it wrong, and with all the back ground people have to get it right, it's all the more surprising when someone does manage to get it wrong. Usually it's someone that is practically preverbal, but that's probably just the *hole in me speaking.

Sure, most sequels stink, but what movie really needs a sequel?

What were you afraid of as a child that seems silly to you now?

I used to sleep with the covers over my neck due to vampires. As in when it was 100 degrees out in August with a 95% humidity and I had no earthly reason to use covers at all I would role up the covers so that they would cover my neck. Then I would take 30 minutes getting to sleep, wondering if other body parts were vulnerable (after I got up again to shut the closet door.).

What is your earliest memory?

I remember crawling, and thinking, this is a new area it feels different on my knees. I looked down and saw the red tiling and looked up at the door. I believe I was a the front entryway of our old house, which we left in 78, making me around 1 year old.

What was your very first job?

I was a Sandwich Artiste at Scrubway. I used to bike 5 miles to get there, and it was a lot of fun. My favorite thing was to challenge myself on how fast I could get making the sandwichs. Conversly the most annoying was when someone wouldn't give me what toppings they wanted fast enough! It totally screwed my times up. Some people were so slow naming their ingredients, that occaisionally I'd accidently finish the sandwich before they picked everything they wanted!

What gameshow or reality show would you kick butt on?

 

Fear Factor - I don't get grossed out, I can resist most pain, and after all the height fire training I've been through and what not I wouldn't be to scared to do any of the stunts, in fact I'd just get a huge adrenaline surge and kick A**.
